New Years

To complete this tutorial you will need the following filters:
- DSB Bright Noise - Download here
- Screenworks - Download here

Beautiful woman tube and firework tube I used in my tutorial was misted and tubed by Guismo.

Ready -

Open new Image /Canvas 800 x 600.

Flood fill new image with color Black.

Open building image from supplies and copy /paste as new layer onto the image.

Place the building image to the left. See my image for reference.

Set the building layers blend mode to Hard Light.

Open firework image from supplies.

Copy paste as new layer onto the image.

Open woman image from supplies.

Copy / paste as new layer onto the image.

Go to Image / Mirror so that she is facing the opposite direction.

Place her to the right side of the image just as you see her placed in my image.

Open Rectangle and Text from supplies.

Copy / paste the rectangle as new layer onto the image and place it to the left.

Now make a gradient by setting your foreground color to: #7d581b and background color to: #c2a074

Go to Image / Add Border and add border 2 pixels wide using color black.

Add border 15 pixels wide using color white.

Using the Magic Wand, select the white border and flood fill it with the gradient.

Once you have it filled and with the border still selected, go to Effects / Filters / Screenworks and apply the Double Pack filter using the default setting of 0.

Now to Selections / Select None.

Add border 2 pixels wide using color Black.

Now rotate the text we just opened 90 degrees to the left by going to Image / Rotate.

Copy / paste the text as new layer onto the image and place it on top of the left rectangle. See my image for reference.

Once you have the text in place, go to Selections Menu and choose Select all.

Again to Selections Menu and choose Float.

Now Selections / Modify / Contract and put 2 in the box that will pop up.

You should now see only the inner part of the text selected.

Now to Effects / Filters / DSB Bright Noise and apply using the following settings:

Intensity: 50

Direction: Mix

Click OK.

Selections / Select None.

Merge all layers and open Animation Shop.

Copy the image and paste into AS as New Animation.

Go back to PSP and undo the changes just until the Noise effects disappears from the text but the text remains selected.

Apply Bright Noise once again, just that this time, click twice on the Mix button.

Selections / Select None.

Merge layers and copy / paste into AS After Current Frame.

You are now finished...:)

You can now preview, resize and save as gif....
