Part Two

  • 10.  Go to original heart layer Magic wand (same settings) Click inside the heart Selections/ Modify/ expand by 5

Using tube of choice I have mirrored mine so she is facing the other way Copy Paste as new layer Resize as needed ( I resized 70%) Position as shown

Selections/ Invert/ hit delete key and Move tube below heart layer.    Select none

  • 11.  Your layer palette should be like this:
    White raster layer (bottom layer)
    Mask layer
    Paper fill layer
    Tube layer
    Heart layer
    Heart layer duplicate
    Heart layer duplicate 2

  • 12.  Open the Rose Stem Element and Copy.
Highlight the top layer in your material palette and paste as new layer
(I resized by 85% and flipped the tube. Then Used the deform/pick tool to adjust into place)
Move the rose to the angle you want for positioning - see sample as guide:

    Layers/Duplicate. Layers/Mirror. Layers/Merge/Merge Down

Duplicate. Image/Resize - 85% and Position just above the other rose tube as shown in tag and Merge down

Adjust/ sharpen and Add drop shadow of choice

  • 13.  Find the rose stem tube again and select a smaller portion of the tube As shown in my example. You may select an area that appeals to you :

Copy and Paste as new layer.   Move it down to a spot on the white to check for any Leaves etc that may need erasing.   Erase and clean up if needed

Resize 85% and flip the tube. Use the deform/pick tool To turn it into a position of your liking.
Highlight the layer and move carefully so it looks Like it is part of the other roses - See my example

Duplicate this layer.   Move the rose stem up a little so it all looks like a layer of roses.
Merge this layer down and add drop shadow of choice

  • You should now have:
    White raster layer (bottom layer)
    Mask layer
    Paper fill layer
    Tube layer
    Heart layer
    Heart layer duplicate
    Heart layer duplicate 2
    Rose’s layer
    Smaller rose’s layer

And your image should look like this:

  • 14  Open the chained hearts elements from scrap kit Or it is also there separately in your supplies

Copy/ paste as new layer I have resized it 50%.   Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen - and Add drop shadow of choice.   Place as shown in example of my tag

Go to Selections/Select All Then Selections/Float and then Selections/Defloat

Duplicate Twice so you now have 3 heart layers

  • 15.  Select original heart element layer and go to color palette Patterns and find glitter 1 (you received 3 glitters w/supplies and already used them on the outer part of the heart) - Click OK and Flood fill heart element with glitter

Now select the duplicate heart element layer and return to color palette Pattern.  Select glitter 2 - OK and Flood fill with glitter

Next, select 3rd heart element layer and return to color palette Pattern.  Select glitter 3 - OK and Flood fill with glitter.  Select none

  • You will now have-
    White raster layer (bottom layer)
    Mask layer
    Paper fill layer
    Tube layer
    Heart layer
    Heart layer duplicate
    Heart layer duplicate 2
    Roses layer
    Smaller roses layer
    Heart element layer
    Heart element layer duplicate
    Heart element layer duplicate 2

    Don’t forget to save often

Now is the time to grab that coffee as we still have more to do
